ZTE Smartphones and Tablets Head to Europe
![]() |
A lot of people may not yet have heard of ZTE who have been supplying mobile phones in the UK for sometime. This is because they have been supplying unbranded mobile phones to the likes of Three and Vodafone. So ZTE's smartphones end up being branded as Vodafone or Three handsets.
This is all about to change and sees ZTE moving upwards into the super league of European handset suppliers. Of late, ZTE co-branded the ZTE F930 smartphone with 3 UK, announced the ZTE "Light" Android Tablet and also the ZTE Skate smartphone.
ZTE recently confirmed it intends to ship 12 million smartphones during 2011.
This now seems to fit as ZTE has confirmed that it has agreed to ship its smartphones and tablets directly into Brightpoint. Brightpoint offers ZTE access to its 25K MVNO's retailers and distributors. It looks like ZTE have hit the jackpot.
