ZTE has launched its flagship Android smartphone called the ZTE Skate. ZTE say the Skate comes with Android 2.3 and is a lightweight at only 120 grams.
The ZTE Skate comes with a 4.3 inch touchscreen and the power comes from a 800 MHz processor and an Adreno 200 graphics processing unit (GPU). The GPU provides ample support for the HD resolution display.
There is one camera which is 5 Megapixels, a G-sensor and A-GPS capability. The user interface is the open Android operating system making it user friendly. Connectivity is via 3G HSDPA and Wi-Fi. No further specification details were available via the ZTE press release.
The ZTE Skate will come to the UK in May 2011 but no pricing is currently available.
