Three increasing EU data roaming allowances this month

Three is already one of the most generous networks when it comes to roaming, but it’s about to get even better, as the current EU data roaming limits are being increased on December 28th.

Currently, you can use up to 15GB of data in Europe at no extra cost if you’re on a Pay Monthly plan, but that’s rising to 19GB on December 28th. Pay As You Go is also getting a boost, rising from 12GB to 15GB.

Those limits still require you to have a high enough data allowance of course. So if for example you have a data allowance of 100GB on Pay Monthly, then you’ll be able to use up to 19GB in Europe at no extra cost, but if your allowance is just 2GB then the most you’ll be able to use is 2GB.

Data roaming limits in Go Roam Around the World destinations remain unchanged at 12GB.

Data for everyone

Still, it makes for a nice late Christmas present. And remember, all plans include Go Roam in Europe, which means that all Three customers can benefit from this.

Three lets customers roam at no extra cost in 49 European destinations, so that’s a lot of places where you can benefit from this data limit increase. So if you’ve not already planned your next European trip, this is a good excuse to start.

We expect Go Roam will keep getting better too. Three sometimes adds new locations to the service for example, so stay tuned for more improvements.
