One of the major criticisms aimed at Apple's iPhone 4S is that it looks identical to the previous model, which meant it was hard for people to realise you'd splashed out on a new iPhone.
We've now heard information from a reputable source that the Apple iPhone 5 (or perhaps even the New iPhone), will have a completely new design.
According to Analyst Brian J. White, who visited Apple's suppliers in China and Taiwan, the iPhone 5 will have an aluminium uni-body design which will be much sleeker and stylish than the iPhone 4S.
He also hinted that the iPhone 5 will have a 4 inch touch-screen, which is 0.5 inches bigger than the one present on the 4S. The iPhone 5 is also expected to support LTE, which is also the case with the New iPad in supported markets.
The same source also suggested that production on the iPhone 5 will begin in June ready for an Autumn launch, which sits well with Apple's previous launch trends.
We're just going to have wait patiently for the iPhone 5 to be unveiled, but 3G would expect Apple to have a massive redesign for the iPhone 5 and wouldn't be surprised if it was known as the "New iPhone" !
