Google Image Search Improved For Android And iPhone Users

Google have launched an improved version of its image search.

The new version, which is for iPhone and Android 2.1 devices, improves the image search in a number of ways. Google thought normally in an image search your endlessly going from page to page to find what you want and tried to change this!

The thumbnails that are displayed in results are now square, which means you can see have more of them on the screen at a time. Additionally, you can now swipe to see the next or previous page which saves you time. Finally, the images have been optimized to load as quickly as possible again saving you time.

They’ve also made viewing the images better by introducing a special image viewing page. The page has a black background which makes viewing the image easier and you can also browse through images by swiping.

The video above outlines the new Google Image search for Android mobiles and the iPhone.

To use the new version you go to Google.com and hit images!
