The Lumia 930 is the latest flagship from Nokia and it’s the company’s most complete Windows Phone handset yet in that there aren’t really any compromises.
Unlike most earlier Lumia handsets, such as its predecessor the Nokia Lumia 925, this is a very powerful phone. It has a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM, which is just about enough for it to go toe to toe with Android heavyweights.
It also has a high resolution 5 inch 1080 x 1920 AMOLED display with a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch and an impressive 20 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and a dual-LED flash.
It’s well built too, thanks to a stylish aluminium frame and it ships with Windows Phone 8.1, which is a brand new version of the OS, complete with powerful features like the Cortana virtual assistant and Action Centre for managing notifications.
So it’s the complete package. Powerful, with a great screen, a premium build, a capable camera and innovative software features. In other words it’s exactly the phone that Microsoft and Nokia need.
