Toshiba has released a handful of tablets since 2010 – which actually puts it ahead of many other manufacturers. Toshiba uses the Android operating system and has announced its first tablets that run on the newest Ice Cream Sandwich version.
Its first tablet was the Folio 100, which was pulled from store shelves after high return rates. Like all subsequent Toshiba tablets, the Folio did not support 3G internet, only Wi-Fi, so users have to hop onto a Wi-Fi hotspot to get online.
