The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are here and we’ve got a rundown of what each network charges and what you get for your money.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are brand new, top-tier smartphones so they’re inevitably going to be expensive, but different networks offer them at different prices and with different allowances, so to make it easier to find the best deal to suit your budget and needs we’ve collected information on what each network is charging and offering.
Those considering buying one of Apple's new smartphones have the option of buying the smartphone outright from Apple, but we don't all have that amount of free capital so a better choice is to get it on a pay monthly contract. We've compared plans on Three, EE, O2, Vodafone and our own discounted 3G Shop plans which are on the EE network. They all come with unlimited minutes and texts, but the data differs with each plan.
Anyway, enough talk and on with the deals comparison!
If you just want to get either phone as cheap as possible then we can save you some time there, as these are the cheapest prices offered by each network for the iPhone 6:

So depending on which network you choose the cheapest prices are anywhere from just under £1000 to nearly £1150, but then the allowances vary too. You might be wondering why there’s no column for texts and the reason is simple- every network gives you unlimited texts with the iPhone 6.
The cheapest iPhone 6 Plus prices look like this:

So you’re going to be paying more than £1000 for the iPhone 6 Plus whichever network you get it on, but then it is a lot bigger than the iPhone 6.
If you’d rather pay more and get more then there are plenty of other offers available and we’ve got all the details. First up there’s Three, which benefits from being the only network to offer unlimited 4G data. Note that all of these Three deals are direct from the network’s website and include unlimited minutes and texts.

So as you can see you won’t get the iPhone 6 for less than £1000 on Three and there’s no way to avoid an upfront cost, but with generous allowances and potentially unlimited data it’s well worth considering.
If you’re more interested in the iPhone 6 Plus we’ve got prices for that too:

So it’s more expensive than the iPhone 6, but not actually enormously so.
Next up we’ve got EE’s iPhone 6 plans, which don’t offer unlimited data but the network does have more 4G coverage than any other network and on some plans offers double-speed data where available. EE also has a large number of plans available so rather than show all of them our graph includes some of the best along with the most and least expensive. All plans include unlimited texts.

So as you can see at its cheapest EE is a little more affordable than Three, coming in at just under £1000, but with worse allowances, while at the top end it’s more expensive despite still offering worse allowances. But then its coverage is a lot better. After an iPhone 6 Plus instead? Here’s what EE charges for that:
So the iPhone 6 Plus prices are in each case around £100 more than the iPhone 6 prices and once again it starts cheaper than Three but can end up more expensive.
Next up we’ve got O2, which also sells the iPhone 6 on a large number of tariffs and they all include unlimited minutes and texts, here’s a selection of them:

As you can see O2’s tariffs are a little different. They’re capped at 20GB like EE, but unlike either EE or Three you can get the iPhone 6 with no upfront cost if you pay enough each month.
Here’s what its iPhone 6 Plus tariffs look like and again they all include unlimited minutes and texts

So as with the iPhone 6 you can in some cases get the iPhone 6 Plus with little or no money paid upfront, but the overall cost is higher, as you’d expect.
Then we have Vodafone. This network has a similar level of coverage to O2 and arguably has superior extras than any other network, as you can choose between subscriptions to Netflix, Spotify Premium and Sky Sports Mobile TV. All of the following iPhone 6 tariffs include unlimited minutes and texts and here’s what you’ll pay:

So like O2 you can get the iPhone 6 for little to nothing upfront on some Vodafone plans, however the overall cost tends to be higher than on O2.

Overall prices here are fairly similar to EE, but while you get better extras with Vodafone you get worse 4G coverage.
But before you jump on any of those offers, hold up, because you can also purchase the iPhone 6 from our 3G Store. If bought from here you’ll receive it on EE and all 3G Store plans include double speed data, inclusive EU roaming and free 0800 calls as well as unlimited minutes and texts.
