HTC has announced that they will be launching a white version of the HTC Desire, which should launch in time for Christmas.
With the delays already seen with the White iPhone we wouldn't be surprised if the HTC Desire white launches before the ill-fated iPhone 4.
The white version of the HTC Desire will be exclusive to the Carphone Warehouse , which is quite a coup for the high-street retailer.
As well as a colour change the new white HTC Desire will have a Super LCD display, which is replacing the AMOLED version which are experiencing huge delays. The gloss of this release will be slightly tainted by the launch of the HTC Desire HD, which will eclipse the HTC Desire in many ways.
The HTC Desire is a premium Android mobile that has a 3.7 inch touch-screen, 5 mega-pixel camera with auto-focus and is powered by a 1 Ghz Snapdragon mobile processor.
The HTC Desire has also recently been upgraded to Android 2.2, which has improved the mobile even further by adding the ability to create a personal Wi-Fi network, full Flash support, the ability to install apps on a microSD card and general performance improvements.
