UK : Samsung’s Genio Touch has been launched and is now available in the UK. It was launched by “Girlband” The Saturdays ( above ). The Samsung Genio Touch is a bright, colourful mobile phone and fully interfaces with Twitter and Facebook mobile sites.

Samsung Genio Touch has a curvy design and comes in four hot colours : Cupid Pink, Festival Orange. Minimal White and Jamaican Yellow.

Samsung class the handset as an affordable touch-screen handset which has one finger zoom ability and smart unlock. Smart unlock makes it easy to unlock the phone by drawing a pre selected letter on the home screen. e.g. L. It also has Haptic recognition so the phone responds to your touch as opposed to anothers. Just like many other touch screen mobile phones on the market, the Samsung Genio Touch lets you drag and drop your applications and widgets onto the home screen.

As you would expect from a phone aimed at younger people, a key function of the Samsung Genio Touch is its social networking features. It has a pop-up SNS (social networking sites) alert to keep you up to date with your friends activities.
