UK : Nokia have announced that combined sales of its flagship mobile the N97 and its premium music phone the 5800 XpressMusic have hit 10 million the last 10 months.
2 million N97s have been sold so far since its launch just three months ago. Nokia says this has exceeded their predictions, making it more successful than the N95 at this time in its lifespan.
Both the N97 and 5800 XpressMusic have received glowing from 3G.co.uk, so we’re not surprised the sales have been spectacular. The N97 was summarized as “Easily the best Nseries device so far”, while the 5800 XpressMusic verdict was that it is “A premium phone with crunch-beating appeal.”
Amazingly, Nokia now has over 1.1 billion customers worldwide, which is a bewildering figure. It equates to everyone in India owning a Nokia mobile phone.
The success of the Nokia N97 will also surely mean the recently announced N97 mini will follow in its success.
