Europe : HTC have announced the HTC Tattoo, which runs on the Android operating system.
The aim of the HTC Tattoo is to bring “personalization to the masses”, by making every aspect of the Tattoo customizable to your own tastes.
Firstly, the HTC Tattoo’s covers can be designed by individual customers and then purchased giving a completely unique phone appearance. Alternatively, you can choose from a wide-range of pre-designed covers.
In terms of user-experience the HTC Tattoo features HTC Sense technology, which makes your mobile experience simpler and more natural.
HTC Sense enables homepage customization, ensuring your favorite and most used functions are on your homepage. For example, you may wish to have a stock exchange or weather report on your homepage or have quick access to your most “contacted” friends. In addition, different profiles can be saved to reflect different needs.
As well as customization HTC sense integrates your communications and applications including voice calls, emails, texts, photos and status updates into one consolidated view, providing innovative and fun phone experiences.
The HTC Tattoo comes with integrated Google Services, including Google Maps, Google Mail and Android Market access.
In terms of features the HTC Tattoo comes with a 3.2 MP Camera, 3.5mm Headset jack and a microSD slot.
The HTC Tattoo will launch in Europe from October.
