US / Europe / ASIA : Artificial Life announced the release of Leo Messi-Goal!, the first installment in a series of mobile games based on Leo Messi, the 21-year-old Argentine and now Beijing Olympic 2008 Gold Medalist.
Developed using authentic motion capture data, Artificial Life’s production team held an exclusive photo session with Messi to record his signature moves for their inclusion in the game.
In the game, players control the avatar of Leo Messi and his team to go for league championship. Traditional soccer moves, such as fouling players, corner, free and penalty vkicks, are included for realistic soccer simulation. As the official game for Leo Messi, special tricks are featured
exclusively on him and presented with high quality 2D and 3D graphics based on motion-capture technology.
Strong artificial intelligence is implemented for the opposing team, which allows for enhanced gaming. “Quick Match” or the extended “Championship League” modes are available with difficulty levels ranging from “easy” to “pro”.
Mini humorous features are inserted in the game play as fun and entertaining elements.
Leo Messi-GOAL! is now available for download globally at www.botme.com, Artificial Life’s m-commerce portal. The game will also be available soon on-deck and off-deck via operators and resellers around the globe.
“The achievement Leo Messi has in the Olympics casts a bigger spotlight on Messi as a highly valuable player and is more than fitting for the launch of Leo Messi-GOAL!
We are delighted to contribute to his success with the first installment of this lively series of Leo Messi-GOAL!,” said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.
