HTC and Vodafone KK Sign Strategic 3G Collaboration Agreement

ASIA : High Tech Computer Corp. (HTC) CEO Peter Chou and Vodafone KK President and Representative Executive Officer Masayoshi Son signed a strategic collaboration agreement under which both parties will collaborate to develop and sell 3G PDA Phones in Japan.


With this partnership, HTC, the world's leading provider of Microsoft® Windows Mobile® devices, will utilize its global experience to expand both companies' customer base and market share in Japan. By selling highly advanced 3G PDA Phones manufactured by HTC, Vodafone will gain a stronger foothold in the Japanese market.
