: T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. (T-Mobile CR) has commissioned the
mobile communication group at Siemens to equip the network of the
fastest growing mobile phone operator in the Czech Republic with EDGE
technology (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution). From the end of
2004, the high-speed infrastructure will be available to the operator's
customers in several major cities and coverage will be extended gradually.
This is Siemens' fourth EDGE contract in Eastern Europe and its thirteenth
in the world.

dimension in using data and multimedia services."

The telecommunications
industry is considered one of the fastest growing industries in the
Czech Republic. How foreign investors appreciate this market can be
seen from the fact, that they have entered all areas of the industry
from terrestrial and mobile telephony, to data services and even satellite
transmissions.

RadioMobil) and in the same year, it began offering mobile communications
services under the name Paegas. In 2002, the Company changed its brand
and subsequently its name. T-Mobile operates a public mobile communications
network on the GSM standard in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands and is a
holder of a licence to operate a third-generation network, UMTS. As
of 19 April 2004, more than 4 million customers were using its services.
