ASIA Singapore : Huawei Technologies demonstrated its leadership in next generation wireless products and solutions at 3GSM World Congress Asia 2006, held in Singapore. Huawei will showcase its cutting edge solutions including 3G, HSPA (High Speed Packet Access), EnerG GSM and WiMAX, and demonstrate to audiences how these latest Huawei technologies can maximize the potential of wireless applications, deliver seamless connectivity and provide faster connections for operators worldwide. As the world's fastest-growing mainstream supplier, Huawei has served 120 million global GSM subscribers and established strategic partnership with leading operators such as Telefónica, France Telecom, KPN, Etisalat, STC, MTN, MTS, TM, China Mobile and China Unicom. In the area of UMTS and HSDPA field, Huawei has won 33 UMTS commercial contracts as of August this year. With the spirit of focusing on the requirements of customers, Huawei provides innovative and customer-oriented solutions to enhance long-term value and potential growth for customers. For wireless terminals Huawei will display the first Vodafone-branded V710 consumer 3G handset, which is customized by Huawei. The dual-mode V710 has a clamshell design and supports WCDMA/GPRS/GSM networks. Weighing at 99 grams, the handset is light, delicate and streamlined. The Vodafone V710 incorporates easy access to core Vodafone services including Vodafone Radio DJ, Mobile TV, music downloads, video telephony and Vodafone live! with 3G. In addition, the handset includes an MP3 music player, a 1.3 mega pixel camera and Bluetooth. At the same time, other different kinds of 3G terminal product, such as UMTS/GPRS/GSM dual-mode handsets U528, U526 and HSDPA USB Modem E220 will also be showcased. At the Congress,
