Hutchison
Telecommunications Int Limited, ("Hutchison Telecom") a
leading international provider of mobile telecommunications services,
will begin trading today on the New York Stock Exchange under the
symbol "HTX."

The initial
public offering of 69,300,000 American depositary shares (ADSs) by
Hutchison Telecom parent Hutchison Whampoa Limited, was priced at
US$11.67 per ADS on October 7, 2004. Each ADS represents 15 ordinary
shares of Hutchison Telecom.

our shares on the New York Stock Exchange is a significant milestone,"
