Nokia Lumia 525 , code-named Nokia Glee , is an affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone.
Nokia's Mobile Division might have been bought by Microsoft , but they'll still continue to release Lumia smartphones. Fresh rumours suggest that the Finnish company are about to unveil a new Lumia mobile called the Lumia 525. According to industry insider EVLeaks it's been give the code-name Nokia Glee.
The Lumia 525 is thought to be the successor to the Lumia 520 (pictured above), which is the most affordable smartphone in Nokia's Lumia range - it's available to buy for just £114.99. For the price, the Lumia 520 is a great value mobile and we're hopeful that its replacement will bring with it a number of key improvements !
The screen on the Lumia 520 was a little dim , so we're hopeful it'll be brightened up a bit. We'd also like to see the addition of a front-facing camera and support for NFC. We wouldn't object to a bit more power and a higher resolution display, but that could be asking too much.
Nokia are holding a press event on October 22nd where we could see them unveil the Lumia 525. At the same event Nokia are expected to showcase the Lumia 1520 , it's first phablet and the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone to have a 1080p display and a quad-core processor.
