29th October , 2007

Europe Italy : DyLogic announced that it will change its company name to Mirial : recalling the Spanish word “mirar” (“to look at”), the new name is tightly linked to the concept of vision and goes together with a re-branding planned for 2008 aiming to give stronger impact and incisiveness to the corporate identity.

Mirial engineers products that enable enterprise-grade video conferencing and carrier-grade audio/video services over IP, 3G and IMS networks in both SD and HD resolutions, such as media server, media gateway and session border controller platforms and soft-clients, as well as turn-key solutions such as video mail, video call center and video portal; founded in 1999 and based in Milan, Italy, the company has been providing standards-compliant solutions for audio and video communication over convergent networks for enterprise, telco and service provider environments worldwide.

“Intellectual property, state of the art technology and reactivity to market changes will still be strong points for Mirial just as they were for DyLogic” comments Emanuele Berti, Chief Executive Officer. “The new company name underlines our focus on video and highlights the will to be far-seeing and to provide cutting-edge solutions made to suit enterprises, service providers and carriers’ communication needs. Nevertheless, this change will have no impact on operational activities: we’ll guarantee full continuity in our evolving offering, thus our customers and partners can still rely on the same advanced, easy to integrate, market-proof technologies”.

Consistently with the will for continuity and for keeping the company’s heritage of values, most of Mirial products will maintain the former names: the Mirial software client versions will be named simply Mirial Softphone, and Mirial Carrier Server will be replaced by its acronym, MCS; other than these, no substantial changes are planned within the existing product lines.
