US : Pulse Antenna Division will exhibit its multiband antennas for the Chinese 3G market and wireless device antennas at PT EXPO/COMM China 2007. The show will be held at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, China from October 23-27, 2007. The Pulse exhibit will be located in Hall 6, Booth 6160.

Pulses Antenna Division will feature its multimode main antennas for multiple applications such as GSM, W-CDMA, and TD-SCDMA. Multimode phones have two to three different systems to accommodate a variety of requirements for space and performance. Also featured will be multimode antennas as stand-alone acoustic modules and antennas for wireless devices.

On display will be Pulses new multihybrid, pentaband, internal cellular antenna that combines 4-band GSM and W-CDMA 2100 to receive and transmit signals in all cellular bands. These antennas can be used in mobile, machine-to-machine, laptop, automotive, and all portable device applications for devices operating on GSM bands (GSM850, EGSM900, PCN1800, PCS1900) and W-CDMA 2100.

Pulse offers small, light, low profile antenna solutions that provide exceptional performance. A thorough understanding of integration challenges presented by different phone systems gives Pulse the knowledge needed to design and modify antenna configurations to meet customer-specific requirements. Pulse provides in-house research, manufacturing technologies, and high-volume production and has delivered over 1 billion antennas to date.

The Chinese 3G market has high growth expectations, but the network is growing slowly, explained Lee Kwang-Long, director of Asia business for Pulse Antenna Division. Thats why multimode phones, which are flexible and able to easily transfer calls from one system to another, will play a big role. Pulses new multihybrid, pentaband, internal cellular band antenna will enable these types of phones. Pulse has been supporting the growing Chinese 3G market with antennas that are small, efficient, and cost competitive, as always, meeting the high quality standards required of all Pulse products.

According to show organizers, PT EXPO/COMM China 2007 is the most influential Telecommunications/IT event in China. There will be more than 800 exhibitors and expectations are for over 370,000 attendees from all over China and the Pacific Rim, with more than thirty countries represented.
