: rockdirect, Vodafone and Intel joined forces to offer a free 3G
Vodafone Mobile Connect Data Card with all rockdirect Intel Centrino
notebooks. The card, worth GBP199, is provided at no extra charge
and gives web and email access via 3G and GPRS whilst on the move.
Mobile Connect
data cards are provided with 10MB of download credit (worth GBP20)
and change to a "Pay As You Use" service thereafter with
no monthly line rental. rockdirect is currently the only UK manufacturer
to offer this unique package to the consumer.
The Vodafone Mobile
Connect 3G/GPRS data card is a PCMCIA card that slots into a standard
Type II PC Card slot and can be used on all rockdirect Intel Centrino
notebooks.

WiFi hotspots is increasing, there is not always one handy and even
then they are being operated by multiple WISPs that you may not have
