Europe : iPoint-media, a leading provider of 3G/IP applications and services platforms , announced today that it would be unveiling its new version (1.7) of Vitrage™,which introduces Vitrage O2m, a Hosted Live and Interactive One2many distribution product.

Vitrage O2mis a hosted live & Interactive One2Many distribution product that allows multiple callers to subscribe to live content value added services, which involve distribution of video and audio streams from a single source to multiple destinations.

iPoint-media’s One2Many is a proven technology that was implemented and used by Datusche Telekom over broadband IP and is now customized and aligned by iPoint-media to be used for 3G. One2Many is patent pending and is registered with the European Patent Office as EP1286547.

With Vitrage O2m viewers can see and hear the presenter, and unlike streaming video each viewer in turn can talk and interact with the presenter, and all participants can hear the conversation (Being scalable as Streaming but yet interactive as two-way communications, is unique to this technology, being unavailable with other streaming solutions).

Vitrage O2m can be used in multiple ways:

1. One2many distribution - using the system similarly to streaming and distribution systems with no interactivity between the live content and the audience. Applications: virtual reality, Adult entrainment, monitoring, surveillance, Info traffic feeds, news casting, football games and sports activities feeds, house guarding, live TV feeds, children monitoring and many other.

2. Live and Interactive One2many - using the system similarly to an Auditorium application, whereas the callers can interact with the presenter. Applications: virtual reality, interactive shows, soccer games and sports activities fans sharing, video chatting, adult content, e-learning, religious preaching and many other.

3. Live, Interactive and Managed One2many - using the system similarly to the above, but with the addition of policies and permissions for the callers to interact. Applications: interactive virtual reality, adult shows, lives discussions, "ask-the-expert", e-learning, religious preaching, live auctions and many other.

No setup is required on the presenter or live content source; it downloads from the Vitrage O2m server. Integrated firewall traversal solution: presenters can be located behind a firewall, and use a private IP. Simply works in all environments. 3G callers connect trough the multimedia IVR, and dynamically created links.

Vitrage™ inbuilt MiVR features customizable call flows with pre-built menus, media content and clips and enables the deployment of sessions and service selection , promotions and ads, authentication services, age verification mechanisms and Disclaimers.

The Administrator can create hosted service partitions and create presenters and set session parameters, while the supervisor is provided with real time monitoring

Vitrage O2m is targeted for 3G Video Telephony Mobile Operators, Landline Operators, Hosted Video Services Brokers, Video Services Application Providers, Aggregators, Content Providers, Enterprises and Corporations.
