Europe : Mobile, Wireline and Broadband operators now able to offer subscribers video messaging using uOne™, LogicaCMG's leading next generation IP-based voicemail and unified messaging solution

LogicaCMG today announced the commercial availability of its latest next generation IP (Internet Protocol) based voicemail and unified messaging solution. The latest release of uOne™ offers additional video call completion and video messaging applications designed for wireline carriers and the growing 3G and broadband subscriber markets.

LogicaCMG's uOne™ enables operators to deliver integrated unified messaging services, offering subscribers a messaging experience not found on other vendor platforms. The fully IP-based solution allows subscribers to store their voice, fax, email, SMS (Short Messaging Service), MMS (Multimedia Messaging service) - and now video - messages in one mailbox that can be accessed via wireline telephone, IP telephone, mobile telephone or PC.

The newly introduced video call completion and videomail functionality of LogicaCMG's uOne™ will provide subscribers with functions to record, deposit, retrieve and play video calls. In addition operators will be able to offer new services including video streaming, video portals and personal stores for large video-files that exceed the limited memory available in current devices.
