22nd October 2003 |
|
Europe : T-Mobile and Trigenix, the mobile interface company, today achieved an industry first by offering consumers the ability to personalise their mobile phones with more than 100 themed t-zones mobile interfaces. Called Screen Styles, these device interfaces allow customers easy and personalised access to their favourite local content channels within t-zones, T-Mobile's interactive multimedia services. Customers in T-Mobile's five European countries will be offered different Trigenix powered Screen Styles - which include themes from the worlds of sport, music and film. The Screen Styles content leverages well-known and attractive international music brands, movies and national sports leagues and teams, such as Black Eyed Peas, Terminator 3 or Bayern Munich. Each Screen Styles product offering comprises a bundle of personalised elements including a wallpaper, polyphonic ringtone, themed menu, and links to additional relevant content around the chosen theme. The Trigenix powered personalisation tool gives T-Mobile a number of significant advantages: T-Mobile is able to fully brand and direct the user experience it provides to its customers as well as enable simple and customised access to t-zones content to stimulate usage. Customers can also choose from a wide variety of Screen Styles with new themes being continually developed to refresh and broaden the range of interfaces offered. "Personalisation is a key component to our mobile data services strategy as it will stimulate usage of our data services," said Nikesh Arora, Chief Marketing Officer, T-Mobile International AG. "The Trigenix technology ensures that we can effectively provide personalised content to even small demographic groups of subscribers, as well as making it easier for customers to access, explore and have fun with t-zones." "T-Mobile has built up an impressive portfolio of services and content channels to offer its t-zones subscribers," said Steve Ives, CEO, Trigenix. "Using Trigenix technology, it is able to provide its customers with a rich variety of interfaces and easy, 'one click' access to this high quality content. Most importantly, it is also now able to ensure complete control of the t-zones experience - whether in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Czech Republic or Austria." Pricing
