3G Rock Gig Live Trial |

This time, 1000 3G phone users are paying £5 to watch a live rock gig on their 3G phones. Up and coming rock band Rooster are strutting their stuff in London on 2nd November and this will be relayed live to the 1000 paid-up 3G phone users. 3 are billing this as a "Virtual Rock Concert" and if successful there will be many more to follow. Who knows anything is possible. Imagine having the opportunity to pick and watch live whatever stage / band you are interested in at the Glastonbury Festival yet no climbing the fences, getting muddy etc. The trial should give a good indication as to whether this is what customers may take to and also whether 3 can increase much needed revenue. |
