Value Pricing for 3G Network Services

29th November 2002

Am-Beo announced that its president and CEO, John Brady, will present "Value Pricing for Network Services," at the Next Generation Billing Systems conference on Dec. 4, 2002 in Barcelona, Spain. The conference, organized by IIR, will focus on the business and revenue side of new products and services for the 3G and WLAN markets.

Inset is John Brady CEO of Am-Beo.

Brady will address two pressing issues in this marketplace. His first premise is that each product can and should be priced according to its immediate value to the consumer. Different parameters affect the value of the data, including timeliness of data, location of the consumer, amount of data delivered and quality of the delivery. In addition, he will present ideas on revenue settlements between the many partners now involved in the digital delivery supply chain.

Am-Beo provides flexible software solutions that allow customers to easily implement sophisticated, value-based pricing for `next-generation' products and services over 3G, Internet and Wireless-LAN networks. Am-Beo's software provides the capability to price a specific service based on multiple parameters, and also to manage and settle the flow of revenue between the various partners that deliver products and services to the marketplace.

Am-Beo's software works with existing billing systems, thereby minimizing the expense and potential risk of implementing new software. By enhancing the overall billing function, it adds revenue settlement, roaming and rating capabilities required for next-generation business models.
