DoCoMo Wireless Camera Phone Sales Exceed 3 Million

27th November 2002

NTT DoCoMo, Inc. announced today that sales of i-shot™ handsets have topped the 3 million mark, less than six months after DoCoMo's i-shot service was introduced. i-shot allows subscribers to transmit still images taken with compatible mobile phones having built-in digital cameras to virtually any device capable of receiving
e-mail, including the 35 million handsets now in use.

Inset is the NTTDoCoMo The N504iS camera mobile.

Given the service's popularity, which continues to rapidly grow, DoCoMo has introduced a variety of i-shot compatible handsets. Currently, there are seven models available on the market.
