Samsung Galaxy Nexus Lacks Flash Support

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus launched last week but since its launch its become apparent that it doesn't support Adobe Flash.

When trying to view Flash content on your Nexus you are prompted to download it from the Android Market, but you then find its not available to download. The problem lies with the new Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system because Adobe haven't made a version of Flash for Google's new OS.

However, Google stated in an interview with Slashgear that Adobe Flash would be updated to support Ice Cream Sandwich shortly.

3G is quite surprised that Google and Samsung didn't work harder to get Adobe to update Flash before the smartphone launched. Some users have also been reporting bugs with Google's new operating system including noticing their Nexus changing volume on its own accord.

Infact, because of concerns over the software Vodafone have delayed launching the Galaxy Nexus. They'll only be releasing the smartphone when they undertaken tests on the new device to check its ready for its customers.

Once we get news of Adobe Flash arriving on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus you'll be the first to know.
