World's First 900 MHz 3G HSPA+ Commercial Network

Europe : The world’s first 3G HSPA+ ( High Speed Packet Access Evolution ) commercial network has been launched operating in the 900 MHz band. The new 3G HSPA+ network was built by Huawei for Aero2 in Poland.

 

Aero2 will gain much wider network penetration with 3G HSPA+ operating in the 900MHz spectrum with improved network coverage yet using less base stations.

 

The 3G HSPA+ network will offer Aero2 customers much better 3G mobile broadband services and higher speeds. Peak download speeds will be up to 22 Megabytes per second which is provided via the new 64 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) technology. Speeds per base station will peak at 60 Megabytes per second achived by Huawei' s All-IP mobile backhauling solution.
