Nokia N900 Internet Browsing Gets Even Better

US : The Nokia N900 has gained yet another feather in its cap because FireFox Mobile Beta is now running on the device.

Firefox mobile works exactly like the Firefox you find on your desktop in terms of both browsing experience and that you can download it to your mobile.

The Firefox interface on the Nokia N900 enables you to slide the screen left to see all your open tabs and right for an options window, with a one click bookmark button. It also has double-tap zooming so you can read text easily.

It also features what Firefox are calling “Weave”, which enables you to continue what you were viewing on Firefox on your PC on your mobile. You can also resume downloads that you were viewing on your PC.

Mozilla Firefox on the Nokia N900 is the first mobile browser to support add-ons and is runs on the same engine as Firefox 3.5.

The video below gives a demonstration of the main features of Firefox Mobile on the Nokia N900.

The Nokia N900 is made to be a browsing and email phone, so support for Firefox mobile is hugely relevant and makes the mobile even more desirable.

We brought you news before of the Nokia N900 supporting Google Wave , as well as QT support for Maemo 5.
