Nextreaming Powers Pantech’s First Satellite DMB Phone

ASIA : Nextreaming announced that its satellite DMB application, NexTV™ S-DMB, has been included in Pantech’s first S-DMB phone, the PT-S130.

The PT-S130 is one of the most advanced Pantech handsets as it is not only supports DMB, but provides a number of other innovative multimedia features to accelerate the usage of ‘mobile broadcast TV’ in Korea. Nextreaming’s NexTV™ enables PT-S130 to be equipped with satellite DMB functions including EPG (Electronic Program Guide), PVR (Personal Video Recorder), and snapshot. Moreover, Nextreaming’s solution powers all multimedia functions on the PT-S130, including VOD player, MP3 player, and media editor. The multimedia functionality enables the PT-S130 to provide one of the world’s most advanced phones with multimedia creation, delivery, playback and editing of video/audio contents.
