The LG Shine is another feature packed handset from the Korean manufacturer. It is encased in a metallic body, and has a smooth sliding spring loaded opening action. The LG Shine is just 14mm thick, and weighs in at just 115g. Navigation through the menu is done by using the roller on the front of the phone, the first time such a device has been used on a phone since the Nokia 7110. The screen doubles up as a mirror when the backlight goes out. The LG KE970 incorporates an MP3 player with equalizer, a 2.0 megapixel camera with auto focus and has expandable memory, compatible with the Mini SD card.
