Europe : Telekom Slovenije, in partnership with Masterline, has deployed the Actelis Networks Inc. MetaLIGHT platforms to backhaul 3G cellular base stations. Actelis is a worldwide leader in delivering broadband over copper solutions that enable profitable, carrier-grade, broadband services using the existing copper infrastructure.

Telekom Slovenije is using Actelis' MetaLIGHT platforms to provide high quality bandwidth to connect 3G cellular base stations (Node-B) that are reachable only by copper, delivering high quality bandwidth to the radio network controller (RNC). Telekom Slovenije delivers those services for Mobitel, its cellular subsidiary.

As a result, the MetaLIGHT solution has been successfully implemented into Telekom Slovenije's network and will continue to answer rising customer demands with the MetaLIGHT portfolio of products.
