Europe : As from today, Vodafone live! 3G customers will have access to a catalogue of around 500,000 music titles on the Mobile Music service. Despite the large number of titles available, searching is made extremely easy and customers can search by artist, title or both.

The Mobile Music service now has a considerable portfolio of music by Portuguese and foreign artists in the Pop, Rock, RnB, World, Hip Hop and Dance categories, in addition to an enlarged classical music section.

The service allows downloads of complete tracks with a quality similar to that of CD to a mobile phone or memory card, and offers titles from a wide range of music publishers including Sony/BMG, Warner Music and EMI.

The Mobile Music service is currently available on the following 3G phones: Motorola C980, E1000, V980, Nokia 6630, Sharp 802, Sharp 902 and Sony Ericsson V800.

In the last month, the Top 5 downloads were as follows: “Get Right” Jennifer Lopez, “Curtain Falls” Blue, “Lift Me Up” Moby, “Driving You Slow” The Gift and “Holiday” Green Day.

The Mobile Music service was launched by Vodafone in November 2004 and currently is the only one of its kind in Portugal. The price of the service is 1.50 euros per download.
