| New NTT DoCoMo Wireless Handset |

Designed especially for users who enjoy i-shot™ picture messaging, the D505i comes with a high-resolution Super CCD camera that has an effective resolution of 630,000 pixels and built-in flash. A maximum 1.23 mega-pixel resolution is realized when photos are printed out. With the camera located on the handset hinge, users can take still pictures by holding the folded handset horizontally, just like a standard digital camera. When the handset is flipped open, a newly developed structure called the SPINEYE™ automatically rotates the camera allowing vertical shots. The D505i features a 2.2-inch (approx.), 262,144 full-color LCD for beautiful reproduction of high-quality photos. It also has an external storage slot for "Memory Stick Duo" cards that can save up to about 970 i-shot (S) size pictures. The handset is equipped for "i-appli DX," a new service application from DoCoMo, to handle a wider range of -enabled content. As a benefit of i-appli DX, D505i users will be able to enjoy highly customized address books and call logs, as well as i-mode e-mail services, by downloading various mail software. Extra friendly i-mode mail allows users to decide in advance which e-mails to download by checking each e-mail subject line, send name and receipt date/time. When inputting a reply, users can also view the received message on the same screen as a split window. The D505i will be
available through all DoCoMo sales channels. The price of the handset
itself will be open (unfixed), while its standard accessory kit, including
battery pack, AC adaptor and desktop holder, will cost 5,700 yen. : NTT DoCoMo they will introduce the D505i mobile phone on May 23, 2003.
The model is the first in the company's new 505i series of enhanced-PDC
(2G) handsets that incorporate a Flash™ browser, allowing users
to access a broad range of rich content and applications that boast
highly fluid animation.
