Inset shows the Hexacto proprietary development methodology called MULTIOtm. This method combines a framework, in-house tools and a production model aimed at separating platform specific services and resources (events, display, bitmaps, sound...) from reusable game components (gameplay, logic, AI...). As a result of the acquisition, JAMDAT will add Hexacto's entire library of original and branded titles to its slate, integrate Hexacto's Montreal-based development team into its publishing business and broaden its leadership to additional mobile entertainment platforms. "This acquisition is particularly significant to JAMDAT because it combines our leadership in publishing mobile entertainment applications for BREW(TM) and Java with the expertise and market share of Hexacto, the leading game publisher for Pocket PC, Smartphone and Palm platforms," said Mitch Lasky, CEO of JAMDAT Mobile Inc.
