|
13th May 2003 |
|
On
behalf of the Institute for International Research (IIR) and our partnering
associations, the CDMA Development Group (CDG) and the UMTS Forum, we
are pleased to formerly Looking ahead to November, our plans call for a full week of activities - please see attached schedule of events and important information on Bangkok. The conference and exhibition will be held Wednesday to Friday, 5 – 7 November at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. Master classes, developer forums, pre-registration cocktails and other social functions will be held at the headquarters hotel to be announced shortly. Over the next few weeks we will be working to reconfirm speakers and finalize logistical arrangements including booth selection, hotels and additional marketing campaigns. Our decision to move to Bangkok was based on in-depth discussion with our sponsors and supporting organizations. There was an overwhelming consensus to re-schedule and move to a location that would be comfortable for everyone to visit. From past experience, we have found Bangkok to be an ideal regional location. Delegates enjoy the tourism benefits of Bangkok (excellent sightseeing, shopping, food, golf, night life, etc.) as well as the advantage of direct flight connections from most of the world’s major cities. |
