A well respected source has posted that HTC has received orders for one million HTC Flyer Tablets. Digitimes themselves quoted Commercial Times as its source. Who exactly has ordered the Flyer's was not reported.
Digitimes also estimated the price of the HTC Flyer to fall between the iPad 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab at around 600 US dollars ( £371 ) although nothing is yet official.
The HTC Flyer will initially come with Android 2.3 ( Gingerbread ) but will be updated to the latest version. It also has the HTC Sense User Interface.
The screen measures 7 inches and is a capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1024x600. There is a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and a front facing lower spec camera for video calling.
