Europe UK : 3 UK Retail Limited (3) has teamed up with insurance provider Lifestyle Services Group (LSG) to offer customers cover at a competitive price. LSG and 3’s 3Cover for handsets and broadband modems will initially be offered in store then via the web and telesales, which are expected to deliver a significant increase in insurance volumes through LSG and 3’s combined capabilities. 3Cover is priced from £5.99 a month for mobiles and from £3.49 for broadband modems.LSG, a 4u group company, has built up a wealth of experience in the design, administration and fulfilment of retail mobile phone insurance. LSG’s proven and robust supply chain supports 3’s commitment to delivering great service to its customers.

3 join LSG’s growing client list of several major high street banks, two supermarket MVNOs and a number of leading financial services providers, including insurers and credit card companies.

The insurance sales will be handled by 3 and its sub-contracted agents. Policy administration, claims handling and fulfilment are provided by LSG. 3Cover aims for 48-hour replacement (following claim acceptance) and cover against:
