US: Dilithium Networks announced it has concluded a joint collaboration agreement with NTT DoCoMo, Inc. to collaborate on the development of 3G terminal test cases to advance video telephony interoperability test solutions.

Dilithium Networks will, with support from NTT DoCoMo, design a broad suite of IOT test cases. Dilithium Networks will incorporate these cases into its Dilithium Networks Analyzer (DNA).

Using DNA, 3G terminal vendors and mobile operators will be better suited to test new handsets being developed, as well as testing terminals software upgrades to ensure high interoperability performance.

Dr. Kazuhiko Kushima, Vice President and Managing Director from NTT DoCoMo, stated, "We recognize Dilithium is a leading provider of 3G-324M solutions and video telephony test solutions. We expect this collaboration will help bolster our business to globally provide seamless 3G video telephony communications."

Paul Zuber, CEO of Dilithium Networks, said, "We are pleased to work closely with NTT DoCoMo, the world's leading 3G mobile operator. NTT DoCoMo's and Dilithium's combined expertise in 3G videotelephony will further enhance and extend the DNA's extensive capabilities to resolve IOT issues for local, international and roaming calls. Using the enhanced capabilities of DNA, 3G terminal and equipment vendors will be able to identify and resolve protocol and equipment related issues, improve service and user experience, and reduce the time to market."
