Australia : Kodak Pty and 3 announced the launch of the KODAK Mobile Service on the 3 mobile network. The new service will provide a mobile photo album to allow customers to view, organise, store, share, and have the ability to print their digital photos - anytime.

"With KODAK Mobile Service now integrated into the 3 experience, there has never been an easier or faster way to share photos. The high-speed capability of the 3 Network significantly enhances the experience of using the KODAK Mobile Service", said Barry Hendy, Asia region manager for Digital Imaging Services at Kodak.

3 customers can access the KODAK Mobile Service through On 3.

Users can easily upload pictures to the KODAK Mobile Service by simply sending pictures via MMS to 126 KODAK (126 56325).

"Capturing digital photos on camera phones is growing in popularity. However, users are often frustrated that they are not able to share their photos from their camera phones. Kodak believes that photos are taken to share, and now in partnership with 3 mobile, we provide users with an easy way to share their camera phone pictures with friends and family around the world", said Mr. Hendy.

The KODAK Mobile Service is fully integrated with the KODAK Picture Centre Online, so all photos from digital cameras or camera phones can be conveniently stored in one location and shared with friends.

Users can send an SMS to invite friends to view photos on their mobile via the Internet.

"We are very excited to be offering KODAK Mobile Service to our subscribers. This new service leverages all the benefits of a 3G network and shows how easy it is to manage and share your photos using a 3 mobile," said Scott Taylor, 3's general manager of content and services.

"The On3 services are all about compelling content, and there is nothing more compelling than sharing pictures with friends.

By working with Kodak we are bringing the most recognised and innovative name in photography to Australia's most advanced mobile network."
