The PROPSim FE is the latest product in the Elektrobit PROPSim Fading emulation product family. It is especially directed to customers who are looking for a cost effective solution for standard requirement testing without compromising any quality aspects. The PROPSim FE with interfaces RF, Analog baseband and Digital baseband, provides a fading test solution for all stages of Chipsets, Mobiles, BTS and wireless network development.

As a first in test equipment, the PROPSim FE introduces an integrated solution for creating test case connections of TS34.121, TS25.141, TS51.010, TS51.021 TIA/EIA and IS-95/97/98/2000, including multipath fading, AWGN (additive white Gaussian noise)-generation and faded modulated interfering signals inside a single tool. This enables customers to use the PROPSim FE as a platform for pre-conformance testing with any available communication tester via RF analog or digital baseband interface with just 2 cable connections..

The all-digital implementation provides unprecedented S/N and C/I emulation accuracy, together with fast setup times, because lengthy analog measurements are not needed. The Fading engine of the PROPSim FE sets new standards for the fading simulation cost/quality ratio and also features the unique Elektrobit simulation feature from files with 100% repeatability and controllability. All PROPSim FE features can be scaled according to customer demand, enabling the optimum feature set for any application with the highest possible efficiency.
