|
US : CinemaElectric and nReach Inc. have reached an agreement to release CinemaElectric mobile content in the US to retailers and via a 6000-strong Mobile Content Vending Machine network for in-store unattended sales to debut later in 2004 reaching a multimillion market US consumers. The touchscreen vending machines will appear in major electronics and mobile phone retailers, airports, train stations and restaurants. nReach has built an online and retail mobile content business where ringtones, graphics and mobile entertainment applications can be purchased directly by customers with cash or credit card. CinemaElectric owns what is believed to be the world's largest library of formatted multimedia and video content for mobile devices. The company has a special focus on video content for mobile phone playback, both in the current 2.5G environments and into advanced, high-speed 3G networks. About CinemaElectric, Inc. CinemaElectric is a wireless services company and a leading provider of multimedia entertainment for mobile devices in more than 35 countries. The Hollywood-based studio produces downloadable PocketCinema(TM) video, MMS greetings, multimedia applications and CineSound(TM)audio ringers. |
