The joint solution is the industry's first 3GPP IMS-compliant solution to fully embrace the true power of SIP, marrying best-in-class application server and media processing technologies. The platform is based on Ubiquity's award-winning SIP Application Server and Convedia's industry-leading IP Media Servers. Ubiquity's software provides both a carrier-class deployment platform and an open, programmable application creation environment, while Convedia's IP media servers deliver an optimized Multimedia Resource Function (MRF) to support scalable audio and video IP media processing.
