The S251 is the Americas addition to the S200 series. The consumer phone incorporates technology for easy-to-use voice and text messaging, downloading of ring tones and icons and it offers an unprecedented 12 games. The S251 is offered in a variety of different colors. "With the launch of the S251, Sendo releases its first phone designed for the Americas," said Greg Christian, President of the Americas for Sendo. "More and more Americas carriers are switching to the 850 GSM frequency band and with the introduction of the S251, Sendo can broaden its customer base to carriers in the Americas." Christian continued: "Sendo currently already ships several of its existing phone range in Americas territories that use the GSM 900/1800 bands, such as the French Caribbean. With the GSM 850/1900 S251, Sendo now offers a product range that covers all GSM territories in the Americas." The phones' eight single player games are Quaddro, FlippIt, Scizzors, Ten Pin, Cartz, GemRaider, Splat, and Sumino, offering a wide choice among contests of skill, action and chance. The four SMS-based two-player games are the classics Chess, Checkers and Reversi, plus Sendo's own KombatClub™. KombatClub brings the excitement of person-to-person gaming into the mobile environment. You challenge a Sendo friend to a duel, prepare your attack and defense and SMS the challenge. The high quality animations that the phone offers bring the battle to life on the screen. The S251 is expected to be commercially available next month. |
