| 3G Network Design and Optimization Software |
11th March 2003 |
AIRCOM is proud to announce the capability of it's market leading software, 3g, in supporting design of cdma2000 (1xRTT, 3xRTT, 1xEV-DV) and HDR (1xEV-DO) wireless networks and it's new software RANOPT in supporting CDMA and WCDMA network optimization. 3g, already capable of addressing design of current IS95 networks, is now enhanced to analyze complex next generation wireless network scenarios. Network operators looking at strategic deployment of Voice, Real Time Packet Data and Non Real Time Packet Data services can benefit from the wealth of information provided by 3g. 3g, using a Static Simulator and a Time Simulator can analyze Multi-Terminal, Multi-Carrier, Multi-Service next generation CDMA and WCDMA network deployment scenarios. 3g is compatible with cdma2000 (C.S0001-C v1.0) and HDR (C.S0024-0 v4.0) specifications as defined by the 3GPP2 organization (www.3gpp2.org). 3g, integrated with AIRCOM's market leading ENTERPRISE solution, provides a turnkey software solution for network operators looking at Designing, Deploying, Optimizing and Managing their next generation wireless networks using a truly Integrated Management solution. RANOPT enables engineers to asses whether the radio network is able to meet the required demands such as grade of service, coverage and soft handover objectives. RANOPT has been designed to facilitate the loading and analysis regardless of technology (i.e. 2G, 2.5G and 3G networks). Its flexibility makes it possible to analyze scanned and terminal data from virtually any equipment. The tool allows for the in-depth statistical analysis of measured data. Through this, the operator will be able to pinpoint problem areas, drill down for more detailed analysis, find the problem and take corrective action. The modules that make up AIRCOM’s integrated ENTERPRISE Suite focus on Radio Planning, Core and Access Transmission Planning, Optimization, Configuration Management, and Network Systems & Process Management. A completely integrated part of the suite, RANOPT and 3g are also fully functional as stand-alone software tools. |
