Samsung Selling One Million Galaxy Notes A Month

The Samsung Galaxy Note was one of the surprise successes of 2011 and its success has continued into this year.

New information, posted by Eldar Murtazin, reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note has sold one million units in each of the last two months. That brings its total sales up to a whopping 7 million which is quite something for a device which was initially snubbed by a number of UK operators.

The Samsung Galaxy Note's success has had a huge affect on the rest of the smartphone market because other manufacturers have been forced to include larger touch-screens in their devices. For those who've never come across the Galaxy Note it has a 5.3 inch touch-screen and was promoted as a hybrid device sitting between a tablet and a smartphone.

3G reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Note last year where we concluded that "The Samsung Galaxy Note is a fantastic device that offers a host of features and great power". You can read our full Galaxy Note review by clicking here.
