Nokia have unveiled three new smartphones in their Nokia Asha range with all features touch-screens.
The Nokia Asha 311, Asha 305 and Asha 306 have all been designed to offer web-browsing without using loads of data or excessively draining the battery. This is achieved by utilising Nokia Browser 2.0, which reduces data consumption by 90 per cent and loads pages up to three times faster than devices without cloud-based loading technology.
In addition all three of the new Asha Touch smartphones come with social networking applications pre-loaded. Furthermore, they all come with access to 40 free EA games which include Need for Speed The Run and FIFA 12.
Nokia 311
The Nokia Asha 311 has the best specification out all of the new devices and features a 3 inch capacitive touch-screen with scratch-resistant glass.
The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz processor and also has a 3.2 mega-pixel camera, while it has on-board memory of 256MB and supports microSD cards up to 32GB. Supported connectivity includes Bluetooth, 3G and WiFi, while the smartphone comes pre-loaded with Angry Birds.
The Nokia Asha 311 is set to launch in the third quarter of 2012 and will be priced at 92 Euros (£75).
Nokia Asha 305 and 306
The Nokia Asha 305 and 306 are identical apart from that the former is an easy-switch DUAL-sim smartphone, while the latter is a single SIM device. 3G thinks its unlikely that we'll see the Nokia Asha 305 launch in the UK, but the Nokia Asha 306 should hit these shores.
The Nokia Asha 306 has a 3 inch resistive touch-screen , while it also has a 2 mega-pixel camera and support for 3G, WiFi , Bluetooth and microSD cards up to 32GB. It also comes with the Nokia Browser 2.0 and access to 40 free EA games !
The Nokia Asha 305 and 306 will launch in the second quarter of 2012 and will be priced at 63 Euros (£51) and 68 Euros (£53) respectively.
