The high resolution of the television images is the result of the highly efficient H.264 video coding technology as well as an increased bit-rate. In addition to a higher resolution especially optimized for larger mobile phone displays, mobilkom austria also offers news program Zeit im Bild three times a day in video-on-demand form - through Austria's best network in HD quality.

HD MOBILE TV is available to A1 and B-FREE customers with Vodafone live! TV or Vodafone live! Entertainment Plus - and that at no charge until further notice. Next-generation mobile television can now be used on the HD mobile Nokia N73 - and in an anticipated three weeks with the HD mobiles Nokia N95 and E65 as well.
