Montenegro : With the approval of the Telecommunications Agency, Promonte launched into commercial use services based on 3G technology both for prepaid and for postpaid customers in nine municipalities.

With the approval of the Telecommunications Agency, Promonte Company gave the possibility to all of its costumers, both prepaid and postpaid, to use the advantages of 3G technology since 22 June. Since the very start, the following services will be available to customers:

Video call (you can talk to and see the person you are talking to) and Faster Internet through HSPA technology (faster data transfer than it has been so far)

At the moment, 3G signal covers the territories of the following municipalities:
Podgorica, Nikšić, Cetinje Ulcinj, Bar, Budva, Herceg Novi, Kotor and Tivat

In the initial phase of operation of the new technology, price for the video call will be the same as the price for the standard call. Also, faster Internet will be charged at the data transfer prices charged for the use of Internet through GPRS/EDGE technology.
